 A 1974 Honda CT70 transformed into a street custom in 2023-2024. Modifications include a hand-formed body kit and exhaust, extended swingarm, shortened front forks, and an 88cc big bore kit with a race head. The owner of the bike wanted a custom lik
 The engine cradle was made from the original stock one, with a couple curves, cross pieces, and a new yoke added. The footpeg assembly and extended side stand are from a Honda CRF 50.

 The swingarm is from a Honda XR75, and has been lengthened about 60mm. The original CT70 swingarm mount fits inside the pressed steel frame, but on this custom, it has been fitted to the outside of the frame. The inspiration was the Honda ST90 frame
 The front fork tubes were machined down about 45mm to give the bike the right stance. There are internal and external springs on them, making for a firm enough fork for an adult.
 The overhead view shows how the lines of the seat and body blend together.

 Blending all the finishes and textures together was a bit of a challenge on this build. The body color was chosen by the owner to match his custom Ford Bronco. An effort was made to keep the chrome plating from overpowering the bike, leading to part
 The tail light is easily overlooked. A simple rectangle to echo the lines of the headlight, powered by a couple LED bulbs.

 Despite the previous comment about down playing the chrome on the rest of the bike, the engine and wheels were given the full polish and plating.
 A favorite feature of mine is the air scoop. It fits on the end of the stock air filter canister, using all original mounting points.

 The exhaust was made from a modified 1" aftermarket header, and a canister formed from 18 gauge flat stock. The original heat shield was reshaped and spun around, using the original mounting holes, and a hidden hooking tab on the tip end. The idea w
