A 1980 Honda CB50S, also known as the AC-02. The bike came to the shop in poor shape, ridden hard, and painted orange on just about every body part. A complete restoration was done in 2015, with a number of modifications.
 The engine was oxidized, but still ran well enough. Some aftermarket parts like the rear-set foot peg mounts and clip-on handlebars were added by a previous owner. The clip-ons were rebuilt and used, but the rear-set mounts fit poorly and were in th
 The finished engine. A Takegawa 82cc bore kit and 20mm carb kit were added, as well as one of their forged aluminum kickstarters.
 The before pic of the front end shows the tired condition the bike was in. The wheels were completely rebuilt, with only the original hub remaining. OEM Honda rims, spokes, and bearings were used.
 Someone loved orange.
 The fuel tank filler neck was moved to the side so the tank strap would fit. The seat was made from a vintage fiberglass unit made for a Triumph. It was cut down, and extra layers of glass added to strengthen a cracked seat pan/hump joint.
